PRIMER FIESTA DEL CACAO – Un espacio de intercambio social y cultural sobre el Cacao.
Extendemos con muchísima alegría esta invitación a la PRIMER FIESTA DEL CACAO que tendrá lugar en Puerto Vallarta y Bahía de Banderas.
El propósito de este evento es crear un espacio de INTERCAMBIO SOCIAL y CULTURAL sobre el cacao, esta semilla tan especial, que ha cobrado mucha fuerza y popularidad en la actualidad y que forma parte importante de la historia del México prehispánico.
Tendremos como invitados especiales a LOS ABUELOS Efrén Hernández Maldonado y Edilberto Díaz Cruz, importantes figuras de las comunidades que preservan la tradición MAYA de Tabasco, y que nos llevarán en un viaje a través de la MEMORIA ANCESTRAL que siempre ha visto al cacao como una planta sagrada, y nos mostrarán más sobre la relación que ellos tienen con el cacao, ya que para ellos es alimento, cultura, familia, comunidad, medicina, biodiversidad, vida.

With tons of joy we invite you to the 1st CACAO FESTIVAL in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay.
The purpose of this event is to create a space of intercultural and social exchange about cacao, the special seed that has become so popular and that has an important role in prehispanic mexican culture.
Abuelo Efrén Hernández Maldonado and abuelo Edilberto Diaz Cruz will be our special guests, they both are two important ELDERS and members of the last MAYAN TRADITION in Tabasco, and they will take us in a journey through the ANCIENT MEMORIES of the sacred cacao plant and will teach us about the relationship between them and cacao, as they are involved with it as food, family, culture, medicine, etc.
