El hablar de la espiritualidad del sagrado cacao es hablar de la vida y de la manera de cómo entendemos el mundo nosotros, los pueblos mayas. Es hablar de la infinita e intrínseca relación que hay entre todo lo formado y creado que existe y coexiste en el sagrado cacaotal. Platicaremos sobre nuestra cosmovisión y juntos tejeremos el petate de la vida.

2 LA ECONOMÍA Y PODER DEL CACAO

En esta charla Cristobal compartirá sobre las relaciones de poder en el sector cacaotero, y las dinámicas que han provocado que otros actores tomen el poder de decisión en las formas de producción, comercialización y política pública. En ese sentido analizaremos las alternativas que permiten resistir o contrarrestar los embates de las disposiciones de los actores dominantes, como lo es la agroecología, donde se ve al cacao como alimento, identidad, vida y espiritualidad, debido a que se ha trastocado su sacralidad y legado.

Such as coming back to the agroecology where we see the Cacao as a Sacred superfood, identity, as life itself, as spirituality. Because unfortunately the sacredness and legacy has been mistreated.
